Wireless Headset for Xbox 360 and PC

I'm looking to spend around $200-$300 on a pretty good wireless headset for my PC and Xbox 360. I'm not sure what's over priced and what's good in terms of brands. I used to own Turtle Beaches X11's which were pretty average for a wireless headset. Not sure whether to go to Razer, Turtle Beach or Tritton.

    Any suggestions?

Any reason why you're so into wireless? I would have to say that you're better off going with wired, unless distance is an issue, then I totally understand.

I just hate cords. Is there any common problems with wireless headsets? I'm just going to be at my desk so not even a meter away from my PC and console.

Any reason why wired is better?

I've just always been against wireless, I suppose it is just a preference of mine. I find them to be a bit staticy, you have to use batteries / deal with recharging as well.

I would recommend the Siberia V2, if I wasn't a cheap ass I would buy one myself, but my turtle beaches have served me well so I'm holding onto them until they break. I'm not 100% if they work for the Xbox, but they for sure would be my top choice for the PC.

Get a headset + a mic if you want quality for your money.
    I have ath-m50s
    Cheap headphone amp
Mid grade logitech desk microphone (I have it set to pick up most of the room but you can tweek the settings how you please)

This all together would be under $200 and you'll get way better sound than any "gaming" headset, not to mention you can unplug them and wear them in public.
