    soo
quit smoking cigarettes a while back after like a year and a half
i guess it wasn't that bad for me.. but it was kinda bad for my dad cause he had been smoking for 20 years
he gained a lot of weight though too lol

never tried to quit smoking pot before but i have gone maybe 1-2 months without it but nothing really happened to me so i guess its all fine

how bout you guys? how did it feel to quit smoking cigarettes?
and for pot if, i guess since its not addictive then that means we dont begin to rely on it? or we still could but its effects aren't as harsh?

I've never been a heavy smoker, and for the last few years I've only ever smoked to slide into social situations.

Never have had to deal with addiction.

Still trying to quit smoking weed. It's hard but that's because I have no self-control since I've been smoking daily for years.

There are no "withdrawal" effects or anything - I just hate wasting money on it and the highs aren't even good or worth it enough to keep smoking.

The worst withdrawal-symptom that I have ever had was extreme loneliness.
I had quit school and was getting ready for university applications and it was a very rainy day
I felt an extreme need to meet my friends, but they were all busy.

The loneliness was pretty extreme; I couldn't study, I couldn't play computer games, and I certainly couldn't go to sleep. I could do nothing at all.
IT was the saddest moment of my life.

Thank god that i'm over with that :/

I've been smoking cigarettes for 10 years and weed on and off for 8. I smoke both pretty much daily, yet I don't consider myself to be that addicted to either. Weed is very easy for me to quit at any time and I've never had any withdrawal symptoms. I smoke an average of about 5-15 times a day (2-3 hits out of a bowl/bong about every 30-60 minutes when I'm not working) and sometimes I'll go weeks without smoking at all. I've also dealt with probation several times over the years, so I've gone months at a time without touching it. I have dealt with other serious drug addictions though, including opiates, benzodiazepines, meth, coke/crack, ketamine, barbiturates, and alcohol, which could be a part of why it's so easy for me to give up weed without any issues at all. I used to be a pack or 2 a day smoker, but now I smoke 1-2 packs a week, depending on how much I drink. When I'm sober, then I won't crave a cigarette at all. I often go several days without one and I could give them up if I really wanted to, but I still choose not to because I enjoy them and I don't smoke enough to notice any negative side effects.

Never smoked cig's and never will, it's literally just retarded to do so.

I have a tendency to become addicted to things easily and quitting weed was a breeze. No withdraws whatsoever. Obviously you miss it sometimes but I never experienced cravings.

Smoking, although in an unhealthy way relieves stress. Smoking it doesn't make you a retard.

It doesn't make you a retard but it in itself is retarded.

Smart people do stupid things, don't take it personally.

I stopped smoking just over a year ago, (Both weed and cigarettes)
At first, obviously it was really difficult, especially as all my friends still smoke and I'd be in situations where they were all smoking and I wasn't, that was the hardest part. I started playing rugby a lot more, and I felt really fit after a while, whereas before I'd cough a lot and was a bit unfit. The feeling of being fit and able was enough to convince me it was worth it, maybe take up a sport and see how you feel.

I never smoked cigarettes but as far as weed goes, I stopped when I got a job since they drug test. Never really was addicted to it though.

Neither. I get extremely high but the highs I get aren't the same as the the highs I got from the first 5 months or so when I first started smoking.

I still get blazed out of my mind, but it's all a jumble of awkwardness and paranoia, no enjoyment.

i started ciggaretes when i was about 16. i would have one every like 3 days when i started, and then it built up to 11 ciggs, then i dropped down to about 5, and now i am at one a day. i am trying to slow down on ciggs, or quit them if i can. not really any withdrawls, other than being pissed when theres traffic. i usually smoke ciggs when there is traffic, and i drive quite often.

pot ive been smoking since i was 13 1/2 and i am 18 now. i started at that age , almost got caughtand then quit till my junior in high school (i was 16 as a junior), and then i started doing it every day. i did it constantly; before school, during school breaks (my friends and i would leave during nutrition and go to where our cars are parked and hotbox a blunt or hit some tokes), after school, before the gym. i was put on formal probation due to an assault (i beat up some kid last year in high school and was charged with it). i had quit for a couple of months to see if my officer was going to drug test me. he didn't so i blaaaaaazed again up until now i am 18 years old. i have a med card, and nothing can stop me.

oh and i've quit pot randomly at times just cuz.
