Untrusted account

Are you able to sell or trade away your skins? I received an untrusted ban almost 1 year ago and I thought untrusted bans are 1 year but some are saying that my ban will just turn into a VAC ban. I am certain that it won't though as I am sure that the ban will just be gone once it hits 365 days/1 year. Next month it will be 1 year so...

 

I've never heard of such a ban, and I haven't found any results on google that could help you find an answer. I'm curious though, do you know why you received it?

 

Yes, a Global Elite friend boosted it (I was silver back then) and after a month it received a global cooldown untrusted. I asked him how long it is and he said 365 days. He never got VAC banned though so I trusted him until today and I knew him for a long time (he's a friend of a co-founder of a CSS Jailbreak server) and I don't think he hacked on my account since I didn't get a vac ban but I did get an untrusted ban a.k.a global cooldown.
