Is xbox going down?

So almost 1 time a week, I get a message from my friends saying that they are quitting/ selling their xbox, and I turned out to sell my just a few days ago, so your guys opinions do you think that xbox gaming is going downhill for now, or is this just leading up to the 720?

 

I personally believe it's leading up to the 720 and people get tired of playing so they sell their consoles unless he's moving onto PS3... but then again, people with PS3's also do the same. It's not declining, that's for sure.

 

Perhaps they have better things to do than game now.

In no way is xbox going down hill. They are steadily making profit and the 720 isn't due to come out any time soon I believe.

 

Ive received or noticed zero activity/evidence that would suggest Xbox is failing. None of my friends have quit/converted to PS3, and I've never received a message from a random guy on my friends list stating this either.

Must just be a coincidence on your end, it happens.

 

ehhhh I'm almost kind of agreeing with you on this one. though it's not going downhill by any substantial amount, it just seems like none of my friends even play their xbox anymore. even i hardly play xbox, as it's gotten real boring. hardly any new, fun games come out that aren't awful fps. microsoft needs to put out a new console since it's been the same shit for just about 7 years now. not to mention kinect sucked dick unless you were a little kid.

 

I really feel that the community is what has made XBOX so successful. It's started to dip a bit, but I have faith that when the 720 comes out people will be back no-lifing video games like the good ol' days.

 

It's not going down, the servers have just been bad lately

 

Personally thinking the change of an Xbox player ditching
their Xbox for a PS3 is slim.. I've had a PS3 and a Xbox is
much better interaction wise.

 

I don't get on xbl much but I do notice less friends online. People are busy, school, work, ect.

I literally posted this and lost my laptop in the same time-frame so wasn't able to get back to you guys, but I surely agree that everything is leading up to the 720, I'm just hoping that it beats whatever playstation is going to put out, If they are going to put out anything or just keep advancing PS3

 

Sony will definitely make a PS4. If you take out the components of an xbox 360 or a PS3 and compare it to a computer, they're not really even that flash. There is constant room for improvement and games graphics could be a lot better if producers would spend more time on them (they don't want to currently cos they want to push out the game as fast as possible for more profit). I'd say the 720 will come out first since its had the longest developmental time and that they always alternate. Ps1, xbox, Ps2, Xbox 360, PS3 etc

 

xbox will never go down if anything ps3 will frist u pay for secruity with xbox and also its microsoft wont go down

 

Considering the amount of money xbox is bringing in per year. I do not believe that xbox is going down, at all.
