Ive been trying to study chess and i noticed Im stuck in the same bracket for a while. I noticed when I play on a real chess board compared to online i play better. Im like a 1200 player and stuck in the 1000 range. Cant seem to progress. Any suggestions?
Do chess puzzles and play a ton of games. Play both long games (1 hour +) as well as (5-10 minute games) as both will improve your overall play. Playing online is always harder than over the board because of distraction. But its good practice. Try playing on lichess.org (if you havent). Even playing with distractions is better than not playing at all.
I been playing on chess.com. Is there any major difference between lichess. I also started doing tactic puzzles and lessons and I feel like im learning new concepts. Do you have a chess rating. We should play sometime!
