How long is it safe to bot?

I'm looking for some opinions on this question from people with experience regarding bot bans.

I'm botting combat on 07' and the script I'm using doesn't have any obvious flaws that are detectable. I also talk in public chat through out the day and move the camera around occasionally. I don't believe Jagex will have any way of detecting me, the thing I'm paranoid about is playtime.

I bot for about 20 hours a day and swap worlds throughout the day, if a player were to report me and the only proof they have is my insane gametime how likely is it I get banned?

Does anyone know a reasonable amount of bot time per day that wouldn't be enough just to ban you based on playing unreasonable amounts of hours a day?

 

Jagex currently doesn't have a bot detector, their "detectors" are J mods, and P mods.

So you can bot as long as they aren't around.

 

They don't really have much of a bot detection system. Most 07 bans are manual Jmod bans.

 

Wow, if they really don't have bot detection then I could just find some obscure training spot that nobody would find me at and bot 20 hours a day no problem.

 

There is no set answer and it's an impossible question to answer.
As a general rule of thumb, bot no longer than you think you would play legit daily.

 

i bot 24 hours a day on 12 accounts and rarely suffer bans

- What the fuck is your operating system?
- How many free RAM do you have running 12 Java Programs

I never bot but as far as I know Jagex's bot detection system is shit so the bans are mostly from jmods

 

My main account was lvl 121 RSC, 126 [2496] EOC, 104 in 07 [april 2nd 2013] and was banned on april 2nd. I never botted on the account. Safe to say they have no "bot detection" in existance and it's all manual bans.

 

Just bot for how ever many hours you generally play.

 

botting overall isn't safe at all.
but in 2007 runescape they have no bot detection in place so as many have stated previous to this comment, it is just mainly jmods etc.

if you have an account you don't really want to be banned then do not bot.
but to reduce risks like this then babysit your computer whilst you bot so it looks like you're afking..

this was successful for me as from 2008-2010 on pre eoc scape . i fully maxed out completionist cape and quests just from botting so i consider myself one of the most successful botters on runescape

 

I managed to bot for over 10 years without detection. However I was recently banned while botting dungeoneering.

 

BOT for a couple hours then play for a hour. The other day bot for 5 hours and play 3hours. Just change ur time up.

 

it really just depends on what skills your doing but i wouldn't bot no more than you would actually play per day also might be good if you mix things up after about 6 hours that way you don't look to obvious

 

What i do is bot 10-16 hours a day, leave for average 6-10 hours then start again.
