Crashing Rares?

Hey guys, Whenever i go to w2 trying to buy rares/sell them theres a ton of people saying beware of crashing rares!!! Bot nuke soon!! should i be worried? or is that just people trying to scare this shizz outta people? thanks!!

Rares will always go up.. sure they may have their dips like nowadays, but they will always go up. They should be rising soon . When you have an item that people want and go to great lengths to get (partyhat/santa for example), and if they are limited in the game and more and more leave each year, then yes they will always go up.. usually a santa goes up ~10m+ per year and partyhats are around ~100m+ per year.. they are long-term investments.. ignore them and hold onto your rares.. it'll be worth it.

Well, do not panic... Panic sellers always lose out.

I say wait it out after the update and speculations. Rares will rise again.

rares will always go up, people sometimes panic and if they see it drop a few mil, they will sell theres which cause it to go back down but eventually it will go back up because theirs only a certain amount left ingame,.

 

^ You shouldn't worry. There is always Panic momments when noobs sell their rares, but after a while it always ends up going up in price.

 

Rares always go down , then up.

 

personally keep the h'ween as it should be worth more than a santa.. h'ween's are more demanded than a santa so therefore it'll go up more.. just keep it and don't sell it.. if you really want to sell it, do it in a month's time or so after bot nuke fixes everything and prices will shoot up

 

I played in 06 and had Blue Phat @ 100M / Mask Set @ 17M - the only difference between then and now is items like Whip dropped from 20M - 300k-400k when rares kept going up and up , everything will drop BUT rares.

Unless Jagex ever nerf rares, the price of them will always rise. As more accounts get banned and more people accidentally drop rares and whatnot, the price will increase. Simple Supply and Demand.

 

it's true that they may crash because of the bot nuke, but it's also true that they will inevitably go back up, as there are no more being introduced into the game. you're pretty much safe with a rare as long as you have patience.

yes buy a santa like 2 months before christmas

 

Purple party hat went down 20m today, and all the rares are going heavily down at the moment, so you would risk losing quite a lot if u bought anything

Even if you have a rare and it has gone down in price, just keep it as it will always go up again. As for investing in rares for short term profit, well it is not so good at the moment for short term profit but if you can grab some rares that have crashed then I would grab them up while you can as they will rise again and you can cash out on your profits. But it may take quite a while for the rares to rise again but if you are in no rush then what do you have to loose.

 

Just some people who are trying to make you sell your rares to them for cheaper... If rares really were crashing why would people take their time to warn you?

Ever since dicing was removed, the need for rares has gone down. The prices have been dipping since.
