Third-age!?

Hey guys, I've recently bought 1b. I have diced a bit, and made enough to buy a purple phat, I also have about 70m left over, and I think if I played my cards right, I could make enough for third-age warrior armour.

So my question is, is third-age armour worth it? And why? Btw, I'll only be buying platebody and platelegs. Thanks =]

 

IMO people only buy Third-age armor for the show off, not really worth it.
I'd choose a shiny partyhat over Third-age/Torva but that's just me ^_^

3rd age or torva is SICK with an phat. SO go for one of them .

 

Fuck that.. do like i did, full bronze/full black.

 

Get a phat then spend the rest on skills:/ no point in getting too the rest to show off thats sad, or if you think you can make money invest in the thrid age.

 

Btw, i hope dicing isn't your primary method to make money, because you WILL get cleaned.
If you want some "safe" money making method, you can make quite a lot flipping with 1b.

 

Third-Age equipment is solely for aesthetic value. I personally wouldn't spend the amount needed on the armor, but if it really catches your eye and you have the spare change- do as you wish.

Be aware that Third-Age equipment fluctuates in price quite frequently.

Phats are much more prestigious than 3rd age imo. I'd try to make more money and get a different color phat.

 

Its got a great def bonus also

 

3RD-age is more of a show off the fact I'm richer than you type of armor. Buy it if you're that kinda guy, otherwise nah it's not worth it.

 

Nothing wrong with showcasing your wealth, IMO.

 

I'd just wear the Partyhat + a fury and some noob armour (like a wooden shield)

 

My question is, are you asking if it is good for combat? Because it has great def bonus. I personally don't know if it's good because I have never used. If someone could please clear up if it is effective.

 

Honestly I would think a man with a partyhat has more wealth than 3rd age. But seriously I would just stop dicing, you've done really well; I would hate to see you lose it.

 

If you're planning on simply purchasing the Third-Age Plate and Legs (that's assuming you win enough from dicing without losing), then yes it is worth it.

However the Third-Age Kite is not worth it.

 

Don't buy 3rd age, save your money and just wear bandos+p hat and spend the rest on prayer or herb

 

Yea at te moment I have full bandos Herblore cape, fury purple phat and ranger boots, chaotic rapier and 3-age kite shield. Just not sure if I want third-age legs and body yet :\

And I mean overall hahaha

 

Max out your skills with your leftover money, PVP a bit?

I prefer partyhat and rares over the others.
