Does Runescape Want To Ban Every Botter?

Now I've been looking over these forums for quite a while now and since the new update I had a very interesting question formed up that wasn't really ready to be answered. This is where you speculate or formulate your ideas so I can solidify my answer. This question goes back to when they first imposed the trade limit and implemented the banning of the wilderness. They lost a large majority of their paying customers. Riots, rants, etc. Now their main focus is to ban the botters. This is my question, Do they really want to ban all the botters out there and lose a lot of money again?

I bring this up because everyone says they are focusing mainly on RSBOT and I got to thinking are they targeting other bots like SCION, SCAR, and all the others or is it just RSBOT that their main concern is? I know a LOT of people bot, but do you really think the Runescape head is actually considering the possibility of banning all the botters. There will always be botters no matter what happens, but do they want all the botters to be gone to where no one is botting anymore?

 

i belive they want all botters gone. the main reason is bc most botters are f2p. people use f2p bots then transfer over to their mains. getting rid of all the bots shouldn't affect that many p2p membership accounts. ya some people will cancel their membership bc they can't get "easy" money over night anymore, but i belive a lot will still stick around after most bots are gone.
