someone on sythe is saying there an admin

so I asked him to prove who he was by pming me on sythe, he then stated he "can not login to sythe as hes not at home, as he is a admin/mod he has to be at home to login", is this correct or is this just aload of bull to scam me out of my runescape items?

also another "admin/mod" said the forums tell them not to send pms just incase its a 3rd person scam, is this also correct?

 

I can almost assure you he is attempting to scam you. Don't trade anyone without a Sythe.org PM.

Also, whenever there is doubt be sure to use a middleman.

Regardless what ppl say, if they say they're sythe admins they wont have trouble with PMing you. If they'll try to escape this step just don't trade with them as they're impersonators trying to trick you without any confirmation

 

If he can't confirm it, you could report him and get him permanently banned as he is trying to impersonate staff.
