Yes it is the correct way, Basically bring your two hands together to form the shape of a diamond.

I would suggest doing the push-ups in intervals, so, do 10 regular push-ups, then 5 diamond then 5 regular. Once you've finished those take a 30 second break then finish off with 10 diamond push ups. I would only suggest this type of workout only if you're young or at the end of a workout.

Doing 20 pushups like that is never going to help you.

Workouts yield something called "gain" and the "gain" from a workout depends on several factors such as form, breathing, intervals, knowledge of workout, weight and so on. These days when I go to gym, I see people only getting 20% gain from a workout...the thing is, you will never get 100 but you can get 90% or more by doing it correctly.

You should do the pushups little slow and in intervals like Graham said probably 1 second to go down and .5 second to go up (or fast as you)

You should breath out when you go/before going down and inhale when going up.

The hands can be placed straight below the color bone or up to the end of ribcage. The ribcage one would put alot of pressure on your wrist so its kinda dangerous.

Diamond push up is to eliminate man-boobs xD so if you really want to do it for its purpose, then you can do hang-cleans, dips, etc (not necessarily chest workouts but chest workouts that stretch the chest)

If you would like, perhaps I could speak with Dingo and make a joint workout guide. I'm not sure how long it would take to make, but it would be accurate and would definitely help those looking to workout.

    you don't know shit.

I have a much more advanced one that I may have up this weekend. It probably wont fit in one post and I may just leave it on my other site (where i get paid for views) as the guide could easily be sold for a couple hundred.

yes the video is correct, but you should breath out when exerting a larger force (in this case when you go up)
