Is this saying that Sythe could sell his site for 60 grand?

Those sites are only for fun, they gather basic site information and generate a worth.

It probably wouldn't be worth 60k, but I can't say for sure without real traffic and revenue info. Sites usually sell for the value of how much money they make over 3 months (of course it's usually more depending on how the revenue is made).

 

Maybe, If sythe himself keeps this up for another 2-3 years it will rise a great amount. Since theres a lot of people on here and people vist the site constantly makes it a great place to form a company, and get it known

 

Wow India has a high percentage of 9.4%. That's unexpected. And wow. 60 grand is a lot of money for Sythe. I would've only estimated it around 10 grand.

 

that number is probable considering how much actual effort goes into the site. Keep in mind that's not revenue, and a good chunk of that goes to the servers and licenses.

 

If I remember correctly, Sythe said that he would sell the site for a 700$ bank transfer if someone would offer it to him. It was awhile ago, but I doubt it would have changed much. That site isn't close to being accurate.

And I honestly doubt this site is worth $60,000. Like someone stated above, it's just an amount that is made up on the spot to make you think that.

 

If this site keeps growing the way it is right now, it will be worth much more in no time.

He doesn't get anything like that, there isn't more than about $8000 recorded in the donators list, which has accumulated over a few years.

Regardless, those sites only give a very rough estimate.

 

I'd say this site is worth around that.

I could see Sythe buying out another site before he gets bought out though, unless he gets bored with it.
