opinions on obby maulers

okay so, throughout my rs life ive seen many different variants of maulers.

and from personal experience, i find those that ARENT s/w prods more difficult to fight than those that ARE s/w prods due to the fact they have their hp.

now, majority of obby maulers NOW are s/w prods, but is it really the right direction for the obby mauler to go? personally i think they should stay true to the roots that they were made for. nothing beats an obby mauler with high hp and str, average combat level.

what are everyone elses thoughts on obby maulers? what variants do you enjoy? what possibilities are there on obby maulers? do you stay 1 attack or do you go impure of the 1 att?

I don't like Obby maulers.
They hardly hit and it is just a waste of time....
Turned my obby mauler (1 att 99 Str) into 60 att 99 str

 

Obby maulers are just good because they can be turned into anything being 1 attack.

Personally I think High strength with 60+ ranged and 20 attack and a corrupt VLS works the best

 

Prods = Fail.
Level them the way they're meant to be played. They're meant to be made as a starter pure, that can be made into anything else because of their high str level and the rest is low.

 

amen! completely agree with you there. prods aren't good at all through my eyes besides being trophy accounts worth a pretty penny to the black market.
