Considering opening a website like RS2Gold, Gold4RS ect..

    Hello,

I was considering opening a gold/account/items ect.. website. Like most of them, it would have the following:
    -Account Sales
    -Gold farming
    -Rapid Gold
    -Transferring
    -Account Training
    -Item Sales/Lending
    -Questing

Now, I know this would cost a lot of money, but I think I have enouhg to just about cover it.
But first of all, I want to know whats your opinion?
Here's answer to a few questions you may ask.

    Would the gold be cheap?
I would try to keep it heap, but not so cheap that I would make a loss, I would have to make a profit to keep the site up.

    Would you need support staff?
Of course! I would love for people to PM me if you want to be support staff.

    Will it be 100% safe?
Yes. I will have 100% trusted people working for me to make sure you don't get scammed. We will defiantly NOT get you banned.

How long will it take to get gold?
I will try to make it as fast as possible.

    What about legal issues?
Don't worry, I will sort out everything on the legal side.

So please post your opinion on if I should start it, or if you think there is too many websites like this out there.

Are you thinking a sweat-shop setup or a team randomly placed? Gohan is correct that time is a factor based upon the demand that a site like this would experience. The team will need to be staffed based upon experience into sections of responsibility. Paying this team will be much more expensive if US/UK based as your also paying them to remain legit. Gold delivery IMO seems to be a very time consuming task not to mention the ability to flex based upon updates. Staffing a team that is randomly located will assist in preventing accounts from being banned. A strong smart legit staff is critical and in my experience that hardest step. As for the selling and buying of items/accounts, this too requires someone/team smart enough to know what to buy and how to protect the site from selling an account that will not get recovered. With all this being said, I think a combination of a US/UK based support team is the way to go. Perhaps it would be wise to start off with just Gold, item sales and quest/skill service? Funding not only for the site development/maintenance/stock will be a little expensive to kickoff but it seems you know that. If you can establish a legit team and a reputation, I'm sure you'll do great. Best of luck.

Spyke pretty much nailed it. Unless you are unemployed and live at home, or are willing to put in huge amounts of time to this, you will not be adequately prepared to handle something like this.

I say go for it, but don't expect too get too big.

There are enough sites out there, and too make sites like this, it is VERY time consuming. You'd need at least 3-4 too start it up by itself In my opinion.

couldn't help but laugh at that.

@ Throne... Don't waste your time bro, Its a respectful idea but will never work. Those websites are ran like a factory. They have different shifts ect, who goldfarm/transfer gold 24/7.

    Thanks for all the comments.
@greenteashirt, you wouldn't need a big factory to do it.
I live in my house and have no job. I wouldn't need a factory, I could just get a few friends to help me and I could manage them all from my computer.

The thing I'm most worried about is getting sued.
I'm not over 18 yet so don't want to get sued. I figure thats a problem.
    Any advice on legal issues?
