Consider coming back

I have been out of the game for awhile, Is it worth coming back? I will be coming back on an account that is relatively low. My main was recovered back from a user on this site but seeing as I don't have any proof anymore of the purchase I will remain the names out of it.

I have considered Runescape or WoW. My playing style is PvM such as Bandos as an example. I want to join a clan/guild and have events.

Any tips/suggestions?

It's not as easy as it used to be to find a group of people to play with that aren't either in it for just the money or are a little too into it to have fun.

If you could find friends to play with, PvM has some potential. Good luck.

Thats what it seemed like, the game looks to be revolved around gold which its unbelievable how much inflation has taken place since I left in 2009.

1m gold is comparable to what 1k was!

There is fun left in RS if you can find a clan, but be careful, they kick you from the clan if you're email address (for clan site), has anything to do with sythe/other RWT sites. Just my 2cents.

It just seems like it will be impossible to even find a clan worth joining. I'm older now, 19 and in college. I don't know whats drawing me back into wanting to play. I guess its because during the weekdays I don't like to really go out and go to parties because of having early class. I have so much down time other than studying that I NEED something to help time go by faster as well as have fun with it.

I'm currently having fun training skills but may get bored, since there aren't many other people to play with :/

Maybe you can start playin again and teach me a thing or two? Lol

I appreciate the option, I am VERY low level right now! As embarrassing as it is the only account I have access to now is my Level 55. I'm planning on getting my Range and Defense as high as possible before I start looking for PvM group. I have not even heard of Citadel.

I'm also really looking for a clan/group that uses Skype/Vent.

Out of all honesty, I'm actually quitting soon as are many of my other friends from class. Why? Evolution combat will not suit Runescape in the slightest in my opinion and some people have already went to 2006scape which has about 1000+ people already playing the server. I will just go back to Lord of the Rings Online but it really is up to you if you feel you'll like Evolution Combat. On the RS forums there are different forums for development of Evolution combat, so you could take a look there! Good luck

I would suggest googling Koa Clan, already recommended it to someone your age for the reason being that it's an adult oriented clan. However, they do not support cheating in any way, shape, or form which by many members' status in this community is not worth the effort. However, they're all mature and extremely both in their forums as well as in-game.
