Not sure if this is the right section.
But I'm gonna start selling some things in the market.
But I've seen people cash backing on paypal?
Is there a way to avoid this? I don't want minus on my Paypal.

Paypal is not secure for virtual trades.

Common ways to overcome it is a gift, then a message saying for a service already received.

Claim and cancel was an old method, but don't think it matters nowadays.

Yea paypal is by far the easiest, but not secure for virtual goods or services in general. Sending as a gift does not reduce a charge back at all, all it does is avoid fees which recently is getting a lot of accounts limited.

Use paypal for small sales that you could live with losing. Big sales use WU or sell to very trusted people.

    Use Playerauctions instead.

    I'd avoid Paypal altogether

I have two paypal accounts. One to recieve payments from, and one to send payments to. It avoids getting your money Disputed/Claimed. I got Limited for around 170 Dollars a few weeks back. I haven't done anything about it but its a pain. I'd just stop using paypal Altogether, they start to call you if your account is in Negative:/

    Agreed.

PlayerAuctions is the safest way ever but they charge alot..
like 10-20% of your trade? not sure but that's how much I had to pay :(
meh.. It's expensive but beats losing everything and as you progress, you get promoted to "Verified Seller" and I think they charge less once you get that status.

OR, you could recieve the payments in an unverified account, then transfer that money to your verified account. So if your account gets minus on the unverified account, you wont have to worry. Just make a new one.

If the unverified account gets limited you will have the money sent to the verified account put on hold. Then you have to ring paypal and it can be a real pain.

Best option is to just use player auctions. Its 10% of trade but it really isn't that much.

Is a real pain, happened to me a few days ago. As people said avoid PayPal as much as possible, even though it's the easiest.

If you keep this up they will pull all the money back from your other account and put it back in the one you sent it from. Happened to me. Also, if you keep creating multiple accounts (especially with a lot of disputes/negative balances) they will PERMANENTLY limit you. You also put people you trade with at risk of PayPal itself recovering funds. This very same thing happened to me, I guess the guy I was trading with wasn't using PayPal the way he should be and now I'm perm limited/got my funds recovered back to him (he's paying me back slowly.)
