Thinking about building a mech

Hey guys,

I am thinking about buying a kit and building a 40% or 60% mechanical keyboard. For the 40% I would like a Planck othorlinear keyboard, for the 60% I was thinking about getting a gh60 SATAN kit from ali express with gateron greens. Anyone built their own mechanical keyboard?

 

Didn't know this was a thing. I use a CM Quickfire TK Blue myself.

There is a huge community around it. I've been researching for a week or more now trying to decide what you get.
