Any idea's? is it any good?
Im not getting a desktop.
I want a branded laptop, would be the one?

I've always heard that you're paying a lot for the name on Alienware without actually seeing the performance from the price you pay for it. Not 100% though, maybe it would be better for you if you were to build one?

 

Well its pretty overpriced. With that you'll be buying a brand (similar to apple). Do you want a laptop or a desktop? If desktop it would be better to just build your own however if you want a laptop I remember seeing a article in CustomPC about value gaming laptops let me see if I can find it.

Well, with Laptops you are pretty much stuck with certain gaming brands. It will show in the price, but if you're going to shell out that much on some over priced bit of hardware go with a Razor.

 

It's not chunky and thick like a Alienware.

Correct, ASUS has some good ones that aren't too overpriced along with MSI.

Get an Asus brand gaming laptop, best bang for the buck.

Just looking at that thing screams over priced.

 

Trust me majority of em are. This is going to be more bang for his buck than a m17x however.

 

asus only good laptops. rest are shit trash.

 

This is exactly why I went with ASUS, after hearing that alienware had been taken over by dell(and has started to use dell components) I decided on the ASUS g74sx

 

My Acer is better then an alien ware Laptop and its 2/3 the cost. Plus that's not just an opinion I'll post proof when i get home and can get my specs.
