Help with avatar.

I need some help. How do I get my avatar to appear so that there is no block of white behind it? I want it so it's just whatever is in the avatar, and no background so that it shows up like the area where your name is and stuff looks like the background. Sounds stupid but I see some peepz with it and it makes it look cooler.

 

You will need to make it into a transparent gif using some special program, say photoshop or something.

The easier alternative is to find the color of the background (background of the part of the post where it says your username "active member", etc) and replace the white in your avatar with that color.

 

I've tried the latter, but to no prevail. And thanks, I'll try to see if I can do that. Tyvm. ^^

EDIT: Photoshop wont DL. Can someone just make this a transparent .gif for me and link it back?
