Call of Duty 7?

Even with Modern Warfare 2 still 6 months away, Treyarch has hinted at a Call of Duty 7:

"A source we consider reliable has told TVGB that Activision is looking to licence music for “Call of Duty 7,” music that gives some serious hints as to the locations the game may take us. Mentioned were Vietnam War era tunes, as well as Cuban, African, and Soviet Union music. The source says Call of Duty: World at War’s senior producer Noah Heller is involved, so it looks like Treyarch is once again developing.

Credibility to the change from WWII is added by Heller himself who last year said they “are showing the final battles of the Pacific and the European Theatre and that lets us put a close to the war. I’m sure game companies will be making World War II games for years to come and World War II is a very classic war. But we’re happy that we put the war to bed.”


World at War Map Pack Sells Two Million Copies

With the next World at War map pack coming out next month, Activision has reported to have sold 2 million copies of the first map pack.

“This is a huge milestone and we are so appreciative of our incredibly supportive community who continue to play and enjoy the game,” said Treyarch’s Mark Lamia.

“We’re hard at work on Call of Duty: World at War Map Pack 2 and look forward to delivering that in June.”

A vietnam call of duty would be awesome,

but i'm more looking forward to modern warfare 2, the trailers are looking awesome.

 

Eh, Treyarch did a good job on World at War, we'll see what happens.

 

Not even going to Play CoD7 Its going to be the same Crap as CoD5.Maybe new Guns,Maps.Wohoo Why not just make a addon?

cod5 was good for a week then sucked. cod4 is a classic and will never get old

Infinity Ward definitely knows what they are doing. CoD4 = Best Game EVAAARRR! CoDWaW brought the good name of CoD4 down heavily. Treyarch needs better developing.

 

Exactly, once I beat the game, I played online for maybe a week if that, and then just never played it again. To this day I have not played it still. Haha

 

i prefer Cod WAW too cod4 dunno why i just always have

 

WaW is good but there are so many WWII games it is sad. COD4 came outta nowhere and it was an original that didn't FAIL hard like other games that tried to go with "Modern Warfare".

 

I just hope they have offline split-screen co-op in the COD Modern warfare 2. I prefer COD4 to COD5, but only COD 5 has co-op, which kinda sucks

 

I wish they made more map packs for Cod4

 

I think that the only good thing about COD5 was Nazi zombies it was a change of pace and fun. I also like co-op campaign, but when it comes to online play cod4 rapes cod5 in many aspects such as map design, guns, better spawns, and more useful perks etc..

 

Modern Warfare 2 is gonna rape
Treyarch ruined CoD: WaW and the whole 'Nazi Zombie' thing was incredibly unrealistic...
People usually play CoD games for the reality, not for zombie killing shit.

Stop slating World at War saying it needs better developers... If you dislike WaW then that's your opinion. Not fact.

 

So true. COD 5 online is fun, but COD 4 online is awesome and is the first COD to have an awesome online gameplay.
