Computer Freezing

[deadly serious]

Does anyone know how to prevent this? I've been trying to download the new WoW patch and every time it freezes before it's fully completed. I've got it between 50-70% every time then it freezes and I'll need to restart the computer. Don't say "Wait for it" because I've waited for an hour when my computer froze and it didn't unfreeze. This only really happens when I'm downloading something pretty big and my computer isn't even that bad.

You might be needing more memory.

Nope, I have 40 gigs of free memory but it usually stops at around 64% :S
