Command Prompt Story Game

About 12-15 years ago i just remember playing a game on command prompt where your action would continue the story, was quite fun and interesting and i had no clue what i was doing but just discovered it.

Guess it was a text based game you would play through a cmd window, any idea on the names of the games, maybe some members played it as well!

Sort of but found the game it was called Zork throughly enjoyed it to be honest lol
