Command Prompt for IMing?

my friend claims he can use command prompt and send messages to other computers. does anyone know how to do it?

 

net send [IP or * for whole network] [message]

Only works in your network

Don't use it for spamming or anything like that, the sender's name is on the title bar.

If it's disabled, which it most likely is, then you'll have to enable it.

'net start messenger' I believe is it. You can't do it remotely, so you have to go to each computer seperately in order to get it working.

 

Lol I spent like 3 hours once making one. It was called BM, would check if the other person was using BM, saved all text into logs, saved your info in .idx's and allowed you to do autor responses (away messages). I gave one to my friend, on my network) and started having a conversation.
I made it into an EXE for my friend though because I didn't want him editting my code. Saved all the files into onto C:.
