Coming from an 09 Senior...

I've always been a person who knows im going to finish school and then look back and say i wish i did things differently lol. Well atleast I know i'm not alone. Time does go by quickly, and i'm trying to make the most of it these days.

 

Personally, I'm abnormally excited for high school. (Not next year, when I go to HS in the morning for math) I've always wondered why people never took those random extracurricular classes, that's what I'm especially waiting for. It's better then JH, where it's four subjects, lunch, exploratory, and Study Hall/Enrichment... High School seems a hell of alot more interesting, and that I know for sure. Am I right, or am I over exaggerating it like I did for Junior High?

 

I'm almost finished with my junior year, and I can't believe that next year, our class will be the ones leading the high school. One the one hand, I can't wait for this year to be over because our academic workload has been unbelievably difficult. On the other hand, I am not really ready to accept the fact that we have just one year left together, then college.

 

In six months you will never think of highschool again.

 

Has to happen eventually, at least you had a good run.

 

Tomorrow is my last day of school, then I have exams >_>

 

I'm an 09 senior as well, and I'll be graduating June 13.

I'm fuckin' excited.

 

Ill be graduating in january next year, and i can't wait till its over with. That way i don't have to see anyone again.

 

I'd rather be in college to be honest, High School is over rated.

 

Live your life for the moment, Because you do not know what the future will bring.

 

Oh man Viper, congrats on graduating! I COMPLETELY agree with you. This is great advice for anyone still in high school or in middle school. Get active in all the clubs you can handle or you WILL regret it when it comes to college applications. You will meet so many more people, therefore getting invited to so many more parties, clubs, etc.. Overall you will have a much better high school life if you get involved and it will look so much better on your resume. What a good deal! Thats one of the things I regret too, I should have gotten more active in my high school life.

Once again, congrats on completing K-12 school Time truly flies.

My advice to you Viper, don't be idle for the next few months. Make sure if you haven't already to start applying to colleges or thinking about what you want to do in life. Because if you don't decide you'll turn out like Gertjaars

High school is nothing compared to college. Trust me, you will have so many more opportunities to do things in college, and it will be way more worthwhile than anything you did in high school.

 

What college did/do you go to? UF? UCF? FSU?

I wouldn't say over rated.. Those are the days of the fake ID, getting in 18+ (or even 21+ for that matter) clubs when your like 17/18, the starting of hard partying, sex, breaking girls 'cherries' lmao, etc.. kinda hard finding a virgin in college tbh

 

Be sure to get peoples numbers because I can assure you, you will not see them again.

Let me add something. GRADUATE ON TIME! Listen, I didn't graduate on time (behind one year), because of stupid community service. I was invited to my graduation, when they skip your name, you feel SO shitty. Please, just graduate with your intended class. It'll probably save you some remorse.
