Getting heaps of Randoms?

Hey guys, so last time I checked getting heaps of Randoms wasn't a good sign, and meant that Jagex had flagged you for Botting.
I've nevere botted on this account, and I've been getting a random every couple of hours (2-3) for the past day or so. I do play a lot yes, but yeah. So confused. I am also a level 3 skiller, if that's anything.

Does this mean smoeone has reported me, and Jagex are closely monitoring me, or..?

I've noticed that I get more randoms as well recently.

It may just depend on how new the account you're botting on is, because I'm sure I didn't get this many randoms when I was playing on my main.
I'd wager that Jagex is just trying to weed out the crappy bots.

 

yeah, the problem is, I don't bot. I used to about 8 months ago, and my IP and ISP has changed since then. So I have no idea why they would be doing it to me. Maybe it's just a false alarm.

There are no randoms there.

 

If you aren't botting, there's nothing to worry about.

Yeah, I've just been doing a combination of Addy Arrow construction and Steel Plate smithing. It is quite a fair bit of exp.

Yeah, I'm not botting, I was just wondering. It's happened to my mates before (not sure on how legit their excuses are) but they said they kept getting heaps of randoms and then got banned even though they didn't bot. But I don't know.

It's pretty accurate. Look on Youtube at some of the people opening multiple effigies at a time or handing in large amounts of xp at minigames (Thief xp from sorc garden): they all get a bunch of randoms in a short period of time. Many more than is usual.

Also, people getting randoms as they leave SW arena or Daemonheim because they gained a bunch of xp in and hadn't been "randomed" yet.

 

I think it's more based on exp then the fact that you're flagged for randoms, like if I'm cutting gems or tipping arrows or something that earns me 200k exp+ an hour I'll get a mad amount of randoms.

 

I agree more with Determinate. Every time i've gone on a 6+ hour spree on dungeon or sw i'll get a random within 30 mins of leaving, then get another one an hour or less later. Most randoms i've gotten is 3 in two hours but i got a fourth two hours later lol. And I've NEVER botted

 

I'm getting a random every time I leave Daemonheim's lobby. =P

 

I practically never get randoms. Then again, I don't do much besides stand in the GE and play Castle Wars.

 

If your gaining a huge amount of xp in a short amount of time I believe that the amount of randoms you get increases. I've seen a video of someone using a bank load of effigies (like 300) and they got a random about every 10 minutes.

They are called "Randoms" for a reason haha you must just be lucky
