Farming Frostweave

I need advice, I just bought 1k Infinite Dust, but the Frostweave on my server is going for a ridiculous amount that I refuse to pay for it (plus, there's not 2500 cloth to be had).

So where do farm?

 

Low level mobs in Northrend. Or I like to get bunch of people in my guild to run heroics with me, and they let me keep all the frostweave.

They have a really high frostweave drop rate.

any high level (73+) humanoids should do the trick.

Yeah I recall those guys dropping frostweave a decent amount of the time. Then again, I haven't played for a while since I can't afford gametime

 

I tried the Adepts and Initiates, killed around 10 of each with a 0 drop. Decided to say screw it.

I constantly do the Cultists from the tourney dailies, and the drops aren't too bad there, I'd say after 15 I walk away with around 10 cloth.

Right now I've found that the dudes in the place above Icecrown have a pretty good drop rate, but the knockback spell they have is bloody annoying.

As for the converted heroes, screw that, they do that whole slow your movement by 60% thing, which is annoying, and they're immune to immobilizations, which is bad for a mage.

 

Usually most mobs in Northrend drop these, I found that when I do random dungeons I get a large amount of frost weave.

 

the undead guys in icecrown like in the gaps between bridges do the trick for me or theres this floating island thing in dragonblight its hard to explain how to get there.... i had to watch like 3 seconds of a video, then fly that 3 seconds then watch then fly etc it was pretty hard, but they drop tons then theres a portal there to a place ont he ground that has about 8x the amount of npc things that the island does

 

Pretty much anything in Icecrown and Storm peaks give frostweave clothes
