Merchanting advice?

Hi, I'm not new to merching but i want a couple of tips from people a little more experienced.

I am currently merching and have done really well, Made several mil over the past few days so i must be doing something right, i understand the concept and patience but i'm merching an item at the moment it had a 100k ish gap and the item has dropped slightly in price according to OS buddy exchange, but i'm thinking meh because items are going up and down during the day and there is obviously peak times, I have waited about 4 hours for the item to sell in the g/e to make my 100k profit, i sold 1 of them about 4 hours ago but the other 2 aren't selling. Should i wait it out or is it a good idea to sell up and profit slightly or make a small loss. I know patience is key but if the item isn't selling i'm looking for advice on whether i am meant to wait it out?, Possibly up to a few extra hours till price go's up or dump the item? Advice please.

 

Because a lot of merchers i have watched videos on, tell their viewers i can sell for 'this price' but why sell for that price when i can wait and sell for 'this price'

 

drop the price down a bit I think you should try merching a lot of items with a lot of volume each, buying and selling one item that you have all your money in might not be the best idea.

 

Is that the case even with a large cash stack, I see a lot of experienced players merching similar items.

 

No with a larger stack you should use what you know works but imagine having all your money in one item and it crashed, then you are a bit screwed. I think using multiple is a good idea. If that does not work go back to what you did originally though, just see what works. How much m are you working with exactly?

 

Exactly, dont put all the eggs in the same basket (unless you are sure at 99% that the item is gona rise in value). Flip items that sell in large quantity like gemstones,potions,herbs.
