So I've been looking around for some early 2001-2004 mustang GT's for my first car and I found one on craigslist for 7k with 75k miles. It is an 01 and in good condition only thing being that the clutch pedal is in need of a replacement maby a month after I buy it.
So my question here being, do you think it is worth replacing the clutch pedal after buying the car for 7k. And how much would it cost to install it. (price of a new clutch is $170

Just the clutch pedal right? If so no biggie at all..

edit: as for price to install it, you could probably do it yourself, if not, just go by a shop and see how much they charge per hour.. more than likely $100+ per hour

edit again: I suggest you get someone that's good with auto mechanics to go with you when you go at look/test drive that mustang, and see if the actual clutch in the engine is still working well and not burned out.

Wow $100 per hour. Jesus. From what I read it takes 4-5 hours.

I brought my uncle with me to test drive it and he used to be a mechanic but retired, so he check out the car and thats the only problem he said is wrong with the car.

Yeah no joke, shops really jew you on the money. Just go to different places some are cheaper some are more expensive
