    Clue Scrolls

Everyone who plays Runescape has heard about the new Elite Clue Scrolls, but what drops them?

    Drop List:
    • God Wars bosses & Generals
    • Chaos Elemental
    • Corporal Beast
    • Bork
    • Dagganoth kings
    • Kalphite Queen
    • King BLack Dragon
    • Mole (Falador Giant Mole to be more specific)
    • Skeletal Horror
    • Bronze Dragons
    • Iron Dragons
    • Steel Dragons
    • Mithril Dragons

*Thanks to Jagex Mod Poppy for confirming what drops Elite Scrolls*

Alright, that doesnt look to appealing to everyone out there, look at all the high level monsters.. well, lets take a look at the NEW rewards out there!

These can be obtained at any level clue

These can be obtained at level one clue

These can be obtained at level two clue

These can be obtained at level three clue

These can be obtained at level four (elite) clue
    [IMG]

    * Court summons, found from medium and hard clue scrolls, allow you to try or defend a case at the Seers' Village courthouse.
    * Emote enhancers modify existing emotes while you are wearing them. Flares modify the 'dance' emote, the wig modifies the 'angry' emote, pantaloons modify the 'bow' emote and the sleeping cap modifies the 'yawn' emote.
    * Ornament kits can be used on the relevant armour to improve its appearance. The decoration can be removed and put back into its kit at any time. Ornament kits are tradable, but the decorated items are not. You may not lend an item that has been decorated in such a way.
^ Animal staves have the attack stats of a mystic battlestaff, with the prayer bonuses of a crozier. Each staff counts as an unlimited elemental rune type. If you wear a staff and its corresponding animal mask, you will be able to perform a 'totem animal' emote.

    New Clue's

Clue's you may stumble upon (level)

    • Simple clues (easy)
    • Riddles (medium, hard)
    • Maps (easy, medium, hard)
    • Sextant coordinates (medium, hard)
    • Anagrams (medium, hard)
    • Emotes (easy, medium, hard)
    • Compass (elite)
    • Scans (elite)

I wont spend any time on:
    • Simple clues (easy)
    • Riddles (medium, hard)
    • Maps (easy, medium, hard)
    • Sextant coordinates (medium, hard)
    • Anagrams (medium, hard)
    • Emotes (easy, medium, hard)
    Simply because, they're not new.
In Elite Scrolls there is a few new things to do, and dont look like to much fun.
    • Compass (elite)
    • Scans (elite)
    • A few Puzzles

Compass: Rather than giving you a coordinate location and requesting you to use the sextant to find that location, a compass puzzle simply presents you with an arrow in the direction of which you should travel. Once you have reached the treasure trail destination, the arrow will turn into a cross and you will know to start digging.

Scans: By right-clicking on your scanning clue scroll and selecting 'Scan', you can scan the area about you. You will then need to walk around until you get close enough that the scan presents you with a hintarrow on your minimap, which you can follow until you find your treasure trail location. You may also right-click the scroll to find out which area needs to be scanned. The scan range will be indicated as soon as you begin scanning.

    Puzzles:
We have a few more sub-sections to this one:
    • Sliding Puzzles
    • Celtic knot puzzle

    Sliding Puzzles:
These are not new(sliding puzzles, pictures are new), but here are some new puzzles you may come across:

    Celtic Knot Puzzle:
A clue, perhaps? Celtic knot puzzles are exclusive to elite clues, and require you to manoeuvre three tracks (grey, red and blue) that each contain 16 runes. The aim of the puzzle is to make sure that, whenever two tracks intersect with each other, the same rune is showing on both tracks. Intersecting runes are highlighted on the puzzle with a green ring (if the rune is the same on both intersecting tracks) or a red ring (differing runes on two intersecting tracks).

For example, if a red and blue track intersects, the same rune (a cosmic rune, death rune, etc) must be showing on both tracks. You move the tracks clockwise or anticlockwise by clicking on the relevant arrow until all intersections have matching runes in this way (with all intersections ringed in green), and then press 'Unlock'.

    Hints
    • Hover over the 'Invert Paths' button to see what lies on a track that runs underneath another track.
    • Look at only two tracks at a time; often it can be overwhelming to try to match all three at once. If you focus on getting two tracks to intersect correctly, then it will take very little time at all to match up the third track.
    • If necessary, use trial and error. Keep the grey track locked in place and keep cycling through on another track until all intersections match up. If this does not happen, move the grey track one place and try again. This will eventually lead to success!
God Mages and Double Agents Updates:

To prevent an enemy(God Mage/Double Agent) from being roused, bring meerkats with you. Their 'Fetch Casket' scroll power means they can can dig for buried treasure without making as much noise as an armour-clad adventurer, handing you the casket or scrollbox without any confrontation. Meerkats can also act as a sextant and spade on treasure trails.

(information for this guide is both by me and used from www.runescape.com)

Happy Tresure Trailing! Hope I helped!

    Want a 10/10 from me :)
Post a couple of links on where you can find guides for clue scrolls (Runehq)
Where you have a map w/ coordinates , where you have a guide for how to use the compass and such , it would also be helpful to have a section on how to do puzzleboxes ( there's a picture you could use / recreate from runehq ) , and honestly , to clean it all up, center it :) ( [center ] [/ center])
