rs white screen help please

So, i try logging on rs on internet explorer 8, i can access the website fine and everything but when i try to play it doesn't download, and it white screens. If anyone could possibly tell me a fix, i'd be greatly appreciated.

 

Try:

Reinstalling/Updating Java.
Use a different Internet Browser, like Firefox or Chrome.
Install all important Windows Updates.

 

try downloading the client?

 

Make sure your browser is updated to the latest setting as well. RuneScape once wouldn't load for me (Black screen though) and updating my Browser fixed the issue.

 

The only thing that fix's this is downloading the client.

It happens to me on my laptop, tried to re-do everything the only thibg that worked was the client.

 

I think it's some kind of error with Java, so my only suggestions would be to either reinstall Java and see if it works out its errors or download the Runescape client found here: http://www.runescape.com/downloads.ws
