Horrible, but some people deserve to live longer than 2 days like a child, or such. He didn't mean no one would ever die, just people would live LONGER. Because less illness would kill them.

However, if they tap into the aging chromosone, they could stop it and we could be immortal O.O!

we wouldn't be immortal. we would simply never die from natural causes, it would be possible to be murdered via woodchipper , insinerator. or just mutilated enough where no amount of science could bring you back (although a clone could take the place.)

Actually, there's bacteria that you can insinerate, disect into tiny pieces, or even compress beyond belief, and they just come back, regrow, or the various pieces spawn full creatures.

That's some advanced sci-fi shit, but it does happen. And for it to happen to humans would be... Yeah.

The idea behind Human Experimentation, however, is the improving of the human race. The idea that we can live in a utopia without any problems.

Hmm I did not know that. I guess I learned something today

But yeah no matter how many times we try something or how many different things we try. there will always be a problem because solving one problem always comes back to have 2 more problems.

Yeah, unfortunately. However, we can't let that get us down! Maybe the two new problems will be easier than the one that spawned it!

All people that die of natural causes die for a reason. They were to weak to survive in the world (natural selection in action)

And you know how fucking terrible it would be if we were immortal do natural deaths?

Cloning is a waste of time because we already have enough chinese people we don;t need additional malfunctioning humans, especially if a large group is against it for some reason. Scientists should spend more time on stem cells.

I am saying this because clones just add another problem to human society, destroy the feeling of living around organic beings, and give no additional help.

No, a natural cause is also old age dude. Meaning, old age can kill you. Eventually the cells in your body deteriorate to a point in which you cannot maintain them. That, or your brain stops processing DNA. It's not because they are weak, it's because their cells and such were not able to sustain their life anymore.

And it wouldn't be that terrible, Stem Cells would also fix the personality disorders everyone seems to have >.>. They wouldn't make us immortal just yet, they'd fix us so we were worthy of immortality.

Those who are ready to go, or don't want it, would have the right to not have it. But by then we wouldn't all be stupid and have opinion and free thought.

And Chanteclear, like I said to TJ, Stem Cells, and Genomics scientists would fix society's bigger problems (personality disorders, personality, illness, etc) before they clone. Therefore a clone wouldn't have hate, anger, love, or pain, just like that of the original.

I think it's a great idea. People have been trying to do it for years.
The guy who played 'Superman,' I can't seem to remember his name right now, but he wanted to do it.
People have also been talking about freezing things to "preserve" life form.

Freezing is already in progress. Quite a few famous people have been frozen. It costs 200,000$. Usually people take their life insurance, and use that to be frozen.

Unfortunately, it's only for people who have illnesses (to my knowledge). They're frozen till a cure for their disease is discovered.

Besides the fact that you would die because you dont have enough food.

Congratz, you just died because of starvation.

What's the use of human cloning anyway? It's just a waste of money and time. For me, it's enough for them to clone human organs for medicinal purposes. But to clone humans, is it really that useful?

Human cloning is against the moral values of many people. We do not live to act like God...for many believers.

Also, clones will have difficulties in functioning as a real human being because they're just "clones". Even if someone physically active had a clone, it is not as lively as him. It's weak like it has sickness all the time...weak like just a few people in the world. So it's just like adding more abnormal things in this world to worry about.

No. Because I don't like the idea of experimenting with humans without their consent, and because there are too many humans already. There's no need for clones.

Cloning human organs serves a useful purpose and has great potential health benefits.

Cloning entire humans seems pointless to me, why would it ever be necessary?
