F2P staking?

I've been training a combat account in F2P and so far it's 75/60/88 with 80hp.

my first question is: do people stake in F2P?
If yes, would this account be good for F2P staking?


cba to make it member because i'd have to do a lot of quest to unlock items/prayers/etc.. and spend a lot of money on Prayer and other stats.

 

Boxing doesn't require any quests in P2P.

And no one stakes in F2P, its max stake limit is 40k..

 

If your going to stake, at least box the point is to be the lowest combat possible. That's a decent build but people in f2p aren't going to stake much at all.

 

So i've been training defence over strength for nothing then?
(well i mean it would have been faster to train strength first)

 

Yeah Stranger is right. No one really stakes alot in F2P. You just have to find the right group of people if you want to do some high stakes.

 

Well with a build such as 90/60/90 or 90/70/90 would do decent I guess. But if you want to stake big, go 99/99/99 as the lower lvl builds don't stake big amounts.

 

There isn't much money on F2P as it is mostly people training their pures before they decide to upgrade, only a few actually enjoy and would like to stake on F2P now days. Give it a try first for sure though!

I'm not sure if people even stake in F2P, other than for fun. The 40k stake limit is quite ridiculous and pretty much kills it as a way to make cash.

 

It's useless on F2P worlds; you won't be able to make anything off it.

40K max on f2p, you barely make profit.
Also, no quests needed to box, you don't even need prayer either.

 

The limit is way too low to be able to make any money =/

 

Staking f2p is not worth it. If you can't become a member then just fight in wildy with high risks

 

People would just run away from that kind of tank though.

 

There was a cc around that used to host f2p duels and basically act as a middleman (with 5% fee) to get around the 40k stake limit. Not sure if there are any such reputable cc's like that atm though
