Cleanup outdated members!

First of all, I did a search and I read the do not suggest, and this never came up, so here I go.

Go look at the memberlist: http://www.sythe.org/memberlist.php

You cant tell me that 157,178+ members are all active on sythe.org?

It honestly gets to be a pain in the grass to search through thousands of members that all have similar names (when using the search feature)

My suggestion is to cleanup inactive members by setting an account deletion cutoff date. 6 months to 1 year should do nicely. This would give a more accurate representation of the ACTUAL member count.

 

No, you never know when someone want's to come back.. And you can never be certain, even if someone hasn't been on in a year they may want to come back. Sorry, but i don't think this is a good idea.

Also, higher member count = more money.
