Contest forums.

I'd like to suggest the implementation of a contest forums section under the Our Community section, where people can hold contests and other people can participate. A general collective of contests, if you will.

This would not only help organize contests, but it would also help remove a lot of clutter around the Runescape forums.

 

Although I would support this, it kind of falls under the "give away" suggestion which is on the DNS list. However I think if it was monitored to make sure there was no abuse it would be a good addition to the forums. It would be a lot of fun to ^_^

 

I'm not so sure it does. To give away means to hand off, usually without a trial of some sort. To hold a contest means people actively compete.

I think it would be smarter to keep all the competitions in one spot than everywhere, for reference and for acknowledgement purposes. It'd be especially useful for people like myself who don't browse all of the forums, but would enjoy being a part of different types of competitions from time to time.

 

Id like to bump this because I was thinking about it, and it would really be a lot of fun for the community.

 

Support. This is a good idea and can help bring the community together more.
