Chinning question

Hey guys, I'm almost 70 range on my pure and getting really tired of rock crabs, Once I get Avas, I'll be getting a 44 Prayer and a Fire Cape. From there I want to chin to 99 range before I start to really train melee.

Whats the best set up to use from 70 range as a 1 def pure? I imagine miters and god clothing for the prayer bonuses.

Every 'guide' I have read has told me to use Red Chins instead of Black Chins, But to my limited knowledge, Black chins have better bonuses. So why would I use Red > Black and not the other way around?

How many chins will it take me to get to 99 from 70 and how many p pots should I invest in buying? I'm thinking 500 p pots will be plenty and maybe 20-25k chins should do.

red does more skellys/monkeys, black has better bonus's but i dont think it doesnt make the same amount of em as red

 

So reds would better to buy for chinning to 99?

How many do you think I would need to go from 70-99?
