Check the scammers section

Maybe get a mod that actually takes the time to check the scammers section and have them do something about it. It's a joke at how it seems there is no care towards getting rid of scammers.

 

There is planty of care, The mods and admins on this site work hard and dont even get paid, If you have the correct content that the mod/admin needs to ban a user then they will.

 

I posted a few days ago, I have video proof but no mod has contacted me for the video. This guy has scammed some more people. If they aren't up for the job then why do they have the position. Being paid shouldn't matter, they choice to be part of the community.

 

Support. But their excuse is 'We're volunteers'.

IMO; I don't care if you're doing voluntary work. If you can't do it, then why do they have the position.

But that's like the only section that needs attention, everywhere else the mods are great .

 

There is I'd bet there is 10 new reports a day. I don't know how long the reports take, but it does take some time.

If you have proof, then post it. Don't make us ask you for it. Thats just utterly stupid.

Doing scam reports is just one of our many jobs. You can not say that since we do not do them we are not a good mod. I personally do not do them as I do not have the knowledge to.

People bitch about this all the time, and it doesn't help. There is no reason at all to do it.

 

Moderators do this on a voluntary basis, and therefor don't have to do them. Dealing with a 'Report a Scammer' takes alot of time and effort and when there are; I'd say 4/10 without any actual proof, it's hard for the Moderators.

 

And to make things worse, they wont follow simple guidelines on how to file a report, instead leave a huge block of text and a bunch of random pictures, or 10 links. Seeing something easier to read is much easier.

 

Yes, that aswell. So, it isn't actually the Moderators fault that they can't get these reports done and dusted quickly as the community don't report the scammers properly.

 

To add on to the many comments above, the Report a Scammer system is redundant, we ban them, they come back, we ban them again, they come back, we IP ban them, they change their IP or use a proxy and come back. Its just a never ending war and not all of us want to waste our time with it. Its not very hard to not get scammed if you just trade with a smidgen of logic.
