Cheating

Definitely the worst feeling ever.

I'm only 18 years of age, fell really hard for this girl. We've fought frequently but always got through with it.

I'm not your typical douche bag boyfriend, I treated her well and with respect. But in the end, she cheated on me with a douche bag on the Fourth of July, our 4 month. And ditched me too.

Share your stories about cheating here. It's an awful feeling to take in. Someone you truly cared for and like and you thought they feel the same. Makes us wonder if everyone is like that, of course not but. Feelings man. Can't even make sense with how saddening I feel.

 

I mean, your only 18 and I doubt she was the LOVE of you life. Of course not everyone is like that, but many people today are. Nothing much else to say but sorry and that you should move on. Sorry if this is interpreted to be sounding a little bit too harsh, but its life.

 

Not harsh at all. You're right, I'm only 18. I understand she wasn't but when you spend so much time with someone and give them everything. It's just seeming less.

 

Well to tell you the truth, its better that it happened only 4 months in then 4 years down the track. Although its not good at all.

I have gone out with a few girls every one has dumped me for being to nice. but they obviously where not the right ones.

Don;t get down because of one girl, there is some one out there and atleast you have experienced something that you will never put some one else through. =)

 

Thank you for this, this was very uplifting. I've come to realize that any girl who complains about a guy being too nice doesn't deserve the guy. I mean not come to realize but some girls are just so tempting.

The hardest ones to forget are the ones who always have to be right and never wrong.

 

I can't comprehend what you're going through right now. I'm going through a break-up myself and it's the worst I've ever felt in my life - but if it ended with her cheating on me...I don't know how I'd feel right now

It'll take time, but at least know that she was at fault for this, not you.

 

Those awful breakups that happen early in your life, when realistically the person you're dating won't be your future spouse, are in my opinion a good thing. Even though they suck at first and you feel terrible about it all, it makes you so much stronger as a person if you fight through it and come back emotionally stronger. If that girl has some guy cheat on her (which seems likely if she hangs out with douchey guys) then her perspective on relationships will probably change. Just remember, time heals all wounds.

Cheating is one of the worst things that someone can do to you, I think. It ruins your ability to trust someone, it can make new relationships with people harder because you may not trust the person you're with.

I think if I were ever cheated on I wouldn't be able to find a new parter for a long time, I'm almost certain that my current girlfriend wouldn't cheat on anybody, but then again there's the feeling that if she did it would ruin me.

You need to understand that if a girl cheats on you then she's not the type of person you're looking for. You'll find the right person for yourself and she the same for you. Then neither of you will need anyone else because you have each other to rely on.

 

Meh as long as you learn from it then you will be better off. If she comes back asking for you to take her back always make sure you say no and never take her ass back under any circumstances.

Cheating in women is usually a result in boredom with the current male based on current sexual encounters or a lack thereof. Best way I found to keep a girl from cheating is to give her awesome sex that she doesn't need to go looking for it. There are lots of videos people have put out about eating a girl out ect that are free if you want to look for them, as i obviously can't link them here.

Even though cheating is a result of boredom or temptation its still unacceptable so make sure if you ever talk to her that you affirm that what she did was unacceptable. If you do she will gain some respect for you in that you don't bend over backwards to be stepped on by her, but you actually stand your ground.

 

Be thankful that you found out and are not wasting anymore of your life with said person. I wouldn't want to be associated with a cheater.

 

I've never been cheated on but to quote a very common saying, "Time heals everything".
Best thing you can do now, is get back up on your feet, brush yourself off and move on with your life

 

I'd like to emphasize this point. Wayyyy too many people take cheaters back promising they will change, only to be disappointed again. Even if they have genuinely changed, trust is such a fundamental part of a relationship that will be virtually impossible to repair.

 

First thing I tell any girl who is starting to discuss a serious relationship is that if I find out they cheat they are gone no questions whether its 1 month in or 1 decade in. I just say that if you want an open relationship to talk to me about it before you just go off doing whatever. It works for me I haven't been cheated on.

 

I'm sorry to hear you got cheated on. I can only imagine how agonizing that feels (I've never been cheated on before).

It is going to hurt for some time, but use this time to analyze the relationship and think about the kind of person you were with, so that you don't make the same mistake twice. If this girl would cheat on you so readily, then she obviously isn't a great person and not the kind of person you want to be in a relationship with.

Don't let this one incident ruin your trust in females in future relationships either - I can tell you that not all girls are that low that they would cheat on their boyfriend's. Eventually you will move on from this girl and there will be another wonderful one waiting for you down the line, who will respect you and your relationship enough to stay faithful to you. Put this cheating girl behind you mate, and move forwards while never looking back.
