Cheapest Item To Alch?

I haven't played in awhile but I'm not sure what the best thing is to alch anymore, thanks in advanced I appreciate it.

 

Im not sure anymore, but I think that there is a website which shows you the current best items to alch. Try searching "Alch items runescape" on google. Then try to find a website called runescape.wikia.com or something

 

Cheapest non wieldable item is Needles, you can buy on GE for 1 gp each, 2 at most. Its perfect for alching.

 

Therefore with current nature rune prices you're loosing 200 gp per alchemy. Not so cheap.

 

I meant cheapest as in a item with the highest return of gp. Like the above poster said i'd be losing the price of nature runes.

 

Honestly there are so many different methods of training magic right now. Alching is so old school, although there is nothing wrong with being old school, its best to keep up with the times. I think even surging DKs can bring in money and better exp.

 

Depends on how much you want to spend on the item itself.

<250gp = steel battleaxe (-29)
<500gp = black sq shield (-6)
<1000gp = adamant mace (+11)

This is based on a nature rune price of 204gp each.

 

don't those items have like 100 limit per 4 hours?

 

Along with those that Cskiffing listed you could buy battlestaffs at 100/4hours.

onyx bolts (e) use to be one of the best items. check into it, i'm not so sure now though.

 

classic longbows are still good if you're doing large amounts

 

Yeah. Onyx (e) are pretty good to alch. They cost about 8.8k and alch for 9k.
Nature runes cost 198. So if you alched these, you would lose practically nothing.
