If you have AT&T you end up having to buy data no matter what, which is like $25 or $35. It's incredibly easy to go over the limit of the $25 plan so opt into the bigger one. The only other choice you have is how many minutes you get, so just look at your bill now to see how many minutes a month you use and buy that one. All AT&T minutes are nationwide, no matter what, so don't worry about that. They also do free calling to any other AT&T cell phone, so those minutes don't count against you.


AFAIK the only real other place that sells iPhones is Verizon. Don't be fooled by the factory unlocked iPhones; sure they are endorsed by Apple, but they are much worse on the side networks. Go with AT&T or Verizon only.

I'd say its around 80-100$ since our family plan is about 200$ but we pay 150$ because of some boeing employee discount with at&t.

I have. I've been looking at all of the plans and services all day, and I'm just trying to see what it may be like for someone who actually owns an iPhone :embar: .

 

get a factory unlocked iphone for 650 or a used iphone here or on craigslist that has to be unlocked, and then switch to straight talk. it uses ATT towers so its great. 45$ unlimted
