Questions about renting out my account

I saw that people now-a-days rent out accounts for people to stake on or w/e, and I was thinking of renting out my main. He's 99 att, str, def, hp, and magic. I just didn't know how it works; for example, can I just keep all my stuff in my bank and not give them the pin (so they don't take or stake anything)? Also, am I in any position to start renting out my account because I only have 2 vouches lol. Also, do they pay the fee after or before the renting time is up, or is that part of the trust aspect of renting (Few vouches = rent first ask for pay later)? Do people use MM's for this?

Yes you can rent your account out. Keep a bank pin, no need to tell them it. You are a $25 donator so you should be able to expect people to pay you the 5m (or whatever price you choose to charge) upfront. If they are uncomfortable going first then seek out a free trusted middleman. After you get a few rental vouches though, most people should expect to go first to you unless they are highly trusted.

Yeah, renting account for staking only though.

 

Keep a bank pin or remove all your items and put it on a mule account if you're worried.

Make sure you have an email/recovs/etc so they can't hack your account.

You can start renting out your account whenever you want, just make sure to have them pay you first, or use a MM if they aren't trusted.

Rates can go from 5m an hour or a flat rate fee of 10-15m or more.

 

In my opinion I would transfer all items that have value to a mule just in case someone is a jack a55 and decides to attempt to have your account banned or they gets super lucky with guessing your bank pin and gut your account for everything you have.

If you decide to go through with this change your pass to something easy, transfer everything to a mule, then offer it up for rent but be aware you are treading on thin ice, you never know who is going to mess with you and attempt to have the acc banned by botting very obviously such as f2p, etc.

Proceed with caution really think over what you're about to do, if you care about the account don't even bother if not go for it.

 

I completely agree with adam.

Personally I'd say that the risk of the loss of the account isn't worth the low payment.

If they want to get you banned, they probably won't bot because that would take to long lol. Probably just autotype or flaming at people.

 

I didn't even think of someone trying to get my account banned. That would be a dick move, but I also know people can change my name too, which would be really annoying. I was thinking of having the renter put down a deposit to show they are trustworthy, but now that I know there's a potential for people to get me banned, I don't think renting out is worth it to me.

 

definitely just get people to pay first.
there's a chance they'd just use your account and not pay you.
