Rs Nechryael (sorry about not knowing how to spell your name)

Rs Nechryael (however its spelt) claimed he was hacked. I just thought i'd mention that a guy added me on msn and asked if i could help him on sythe. He said he wanted to know people put vouches when they post. Anyway, i was like "in signatures you mean?" and hes like "no, like this:" and he sends me a link to a "sythe thread". The only difference i could spot in the URL was that it didn't have a "www." in the front of sythe.

Anyway, i said "nice phishing site" since it said i was logged out when i have sythe set to always logged in. Also i had the REAL sythe page up at the same time and it said i was logged in. Then he said "awww, your the first person i haven't got hahah" or something like that.

So i'm thinking its possible Rs Nechryael was hacked by the same person who tried to get my account. I might be wrong but i just don't want to see an innocent person banned if that is the case.

    **EDIT**
Several people have said you don't need "www." in front of a site. I never knew this but i do now so theres no need for people to continue to post this. I have no idea how to tell what site is a phishing site and what isn't, i just knew it wasn't the real sythe and closed it. But when i bluffed and said "nice phishing site" the person confessed that it was, which is how i know for sure that it was a phishing site.

It could be possible, but I highly doubt a Guru will fall for a phisher site. :/

Even the most experienced forum user might not notice the www in front of a website.

You'd probably think the same about me, wouldn't you?
Shit happens, I know how it feels to be in his position and it blows.

    ......

the www not being there doesn't make it a phishing site. sythe.org = without WWW. It's still the same thing. I think he didn't use WWW because most virus scanners can detect a phishing site if it's opened, so I'm guessing a copy/paste will be better for him.

I know what you're saying, Tyson. Nech wouldn't do this, but I also doubt he would fall for it. He is a good guy. Maybe he just got haxored.

If someone was scammed, I think we should chip some gold in to bail him out.

    Amirite?

Thats the exact msn of the guy who tried to trick me with his phishing site.

Rs Nechryael should be unbanned, we all know he would never do this. If he said he was hacked then we should believe him. No one questioned R2pleasant when he said his msn was hacked. Rs Nechryael has been a trusted and active member of sythe for a long time.

I thing someone should just donate a steam account and give it up. I doubt someone would would waste that much time to scam a steam account.

I don't see why he has to pay back an account if he was hacked anyway.

Because the offence was done on his account, otherwise I could proxy on, scam, claim I was hacked and be allowed to continue.
