Hi I am Saskiaa from Sythe & Rsbuddy.

I just sat for an hour working how my buys and sales.
Worked out I'm $200 & about 400M(rsgp) out of pocket from scammings/missunderstandings.

Maybe if anyone wants to trade, There should be a sythe membership. Or some kind of Fee.
The amount of scamming is getting out of hand.

There will always be scamming, it's a black market site after all. Our job as staff is to ban these people after they have scammed, and or prevent that from happening. Prevention is the hard part, you can't always know if a person is a scammer. The problem isn't the Staff, it's the users of Sythe. They need to be educated in trading. Always request a PM, use a OMM if needed. etc.

 

If i really posted what im thinking right now you would probably report me.

Sythe is a lot cleaner than any other RS cheating forum. While you need to use your head in trades, I think mods have been doing a pretty good job so far.

People need to get educated on how to trade safely. Always Pm them on sythe before trading etc.

Staff are constantly processing reports, cross-checking IPs and user accounts, and all that fun stuff trying to make it a safe trading environment.

And they do a good job of that. There would be a lot more scammers if we didn't have the staff we have at the moment.

Look through some threads and see bagillions of banned users because they have stuck their head out of the shadows to post on something being watched by mods. That kind of stuff is good work.

 

Staff are working their hardest to catch scammers now. The only way they know about scammers is reports. If they are scammers, they ban them, eliminating one less scamming faggot.

 

The only reason to post this would be if an OMM scammed you or else you just did something stupid.

 

Seems most of the times you were scammed it was from buying accounts. That's your fault. Never buy accounts just bot your own. They are always recovered

 

This is not true, always. Most users that sell accounts recover them, but buying from a trusted user like KeroKeroCola, or Myself would be a way to make sure your 100% safe in account trades at least.

 

Whenever I trade accounts I don't have trouble with the trade itself, and I never recover them (I sell not buy) and I usually get a chargeback on paypal

 

My opinion is: So? Scamming will always exist, if a honest buyer exists a scammer must as well, think ying yang. What you have to do is look at scammers from a birds eye view. Notice the simularities between all scammers, find out what they do, what they like, then avoid people with similar characteristics. Its true however, to get rich you have to take risks, but when a scammer is blatently obvious and reeks of scam, fuck that , you aren't risk taking you're diving off a airplane with no parachute. /ignore him and look for the next trade. Look at the positive side, you're down $200.00 but atleast you gained *edit* knowle... Lol jk who am I kidding you fucked up =P.

and @zetoan. When that happens do you recover the account? I mean, they failed to fullfill their part of the trade, so why the fuck should you?

Just saying maybe if there was some kind of fee it would prevent people wanting to scam.

 

I completely agree with maybe a VIP payment or something. Members that are on here for free use their accounts way too freely, and abuse the rights we have. That's why maybe buying from a donor is so good, because they don't want to lose their money put into the account.

That's because until they scam, they haven't done anything wrong, not all the mods can see the future, just fireZ...

 

Now if only if there was some sort of fee, that distinguished regular members, from people who have paid some sort of, well I don't know, donation to the website? And there could be ranks, for levels of donation and stuff. I think that would DEFINITELY be a good deterrent.

Guys, I'm stumped. I've never seen someone implement a distinguishable rank for donating on a website before.
