    Child arrested for stealing moms pop tarts
    So I remember reading this awhile ago apparently the mother of the child awakened and noticed her son ate her pop tarts so she called the police and had him arrested for stealing. So the officers arrested the son and charged him with misdemeanor larceny and valued the missing pop tarts at 5 dollars. This whole thing never sat well with me for two reasons one being how stupid are the police for even wasting law enforcement resources on something so senseless and two for the mom being so selfish I mean growing up I never had to ask to eat something, when I was hungry it was there and I ate it without worrying about being arrested.

    Yeah, I remember a case where a 88-year old woman was arrested for not returning a ball to a kid, that had just sent it into her yard for the millionth time.
