Charging Back?

I was wondering if I bought a guide that wasn't as described, and the user was banned by a market mod for selling it, would it be okay to charge back since the guide was basically a scam?

I bought one guide that supposedly told you how to never die in pvp, but all it told you to do is to click a home teletab. I believe R2Pleasent banned the user/closed the thread.

The other was a guide to xfer in f2p. The thing is was it required running through the wilderness to the lava maze. It also required buying items that never sell in the GE. Benwise banned the guy.

I wasted 10$ in total on these guides, and if getting a refund was allowed I for sure would.

 

for the first one - if you didnt use a MM for the payment I'd say yea, pretty much a scam on that one.

The other was just a bad sale, it was as it described but I don't think a chargeback would be ethical, cause you're just unsatisfied with what they sold you.
