Charged back

Literally for £500/$750, it's fucked me over pretty badly as I had paid for a trip the minute it was sold. Why couldn't I have waited to sell to somebody else?

Is there anything I can do? a case has been opened through Paypal claiming they didn't have access to their account. I'm not sure what I should be saying as "evidence"?

You should never use money straight after when received on paypal, as this could always happen.

If I can remember, paypal do not support virtual item trades (from what I can remember).

I'm sorry to have to say it but since he is saying he did not have access to his account there not to much you can do. Unless he is a complete retard and used the same IP for both parts. That's your only real hope, if PayPal can see that he is lying. If he used a VPN then it will be very highly stacked in his favor.

Of course do it. Paypal is quite forthcoming in cases like these. Just tell them your story and prove as much details and proof as you can.

 

How much time has past in the time you received the money and the time he claimed it back?

Looks like the sale is 1-2 days old? Anyway, your number 1 option is to show proof of your trade. Without proof, words may not get you too far.

 

If you are sending it all with emails, then add it all as attachments. Either way, it doesnt really matter how you present the pictures to them, just make sure they are there.

 

Yeah, usually in a PayPal case, they give the case to the person who puts forth more effort. Obviously, you can't provide fake proof of anything, but if you do your best to provide them EVERY single picture or video you have of the trade, that's your best bet. You should definitely see if the person charging back said their PayPal email was them in your MSN logs.

 

This is $500+ not like $20. Send them every single little bit of evidence you have that you did you part as expected. After a day or so, and reguarly from then phone them up to ask whats happening etc. Explain the situation again and again.

 

Try calling them up, that works a lot better. Just prove as much as you can.

 

I've called up and basically didn't really get anywhere.
I'm going to try submit the best evidence I can and continually pester them over it. Luckily I have time to fix this negative balance incase I don't win (which is likely) I am just dependant on the rest of my gold I had sold to Kevin and multiple laptops I have for sale on eBay.

What do you think the best thing is to take screenshots of? should I try edit my 45gb clip down and submit a link to them or what?

45 GB?? Or 45MB. I if the later then it is with reasonable size. If it really is 45GB and you have everything related of the trade there, then congratulations on winning the case.
If its huge then compless it, yes. There are free programs available for that, just google it.
