Explanation of the trade: Sold him 500m 07 for .29, he sent a $0.07 fee for a $145 transaction. He's done this with @Fox too after I googled, sad I googled too late. I should wait now countless hours because he wanted to save ten cents over a $145 transaction. Very poor trading practices.

If a fast payment was this important to you, you should have requested priority fees. We only do this on request.

The bitcoin network traffic fluctuates, which means if you're unlucky the transaction could take a little while. If the number of unconfirmed bitcoin transactions goes up, the transaction will take a little longer; this is out of our control. We sent the default blockchain fee of $0.14 / 3 sat/b. This usually confirms within 60 minutes.

If you need payments within 60 seconds, then maybe bitcoin is not for you and you should consider alternative payment methods.

We're happy to reimburse any money lost due to bitcoin value decreases if you've lost anything while the BTC confirms

Our recommendation is to be more patient in future trades with others, thank you.

It confirmed after like 2 hours now.

I don't have any issue any longer since hours later it's confirmed, but I'm not happy how I was treated or that I couldn't refund $150 in BTC (and I would refund him higher fees than $0.07, haha) and get my gold back, instead forcing me to pay for hours to get either the transaction confirmed with no chances of returning gold. Just because payment is irreversible doesn't mean I can't send $150 from my own funds.

It was not the most pleasant trading experience, I especially found it disturbing when I see he's actually done this before.

Yet when you buy gold from him, he wouldn't deliver without 1 confirmation. Not really fair, but whatever, at least I finally got my money after waiting. Could of been different though if he just sent $0.17 fees instead of $0.07.

For me it's a principle to post this, so other users can be aware, expect to wait for hours and hours if you sell to this seller, because he will value his ten cents more than your long hours.
