Luring is Dead.

New anti Lure updates

- You can pick your own item that you would like to protect.

- Coins cannot be dropped in the wilderness. If you die you will keep them.

- Protected items will be based on GE Price, not Alch price.

Updates to come within this month. :/

"Please note that the death mechanic used in the Wilderness and other dangerous PvP activities will not be changing from how it currently is, other than that your most valuable items will be decided by their Grand Exchange guide price, not their alch value." = NO MORE RARES.

If you die in any unsafe, non-PVP area.

Luring isn't dead.

 

Are you sure its only applied to Outside of PVP area?

Nevermind.. wow. No rare lures or anything

 

This can come in useful to lurers in fact, as players will believe this applies for PvP areas too, and so they will not be scared of risking certain items thinking they'll keep over other items.

What makes you think that kills luring? Rares aren't even lured that often, it's mostly cash piles.

 

All this does is get rid of the possibility of rares.

Despite "most of those" being rares, the majority of lures that take place in runescape are not. don't use 1 video creators videos to summarize the entire luring scenario.

 

You do realize the lures in those videos match the rares values in coins too.

 

Valid statement, but I think rares is one of the most popular techniques used.
