Yeah, that's right, Nex. I'm looking to start fighting Nex with a team, probably 6man CS/LS. Do you any of you guys know the stats and items that I'll need to start slaying Nex?

 

Most teams will require 138 combat with 99 Herb

You'll need a Chaotic Crossbow and Rigour. Plus imbued rings, and void/arma/pernix.

 

Plus VLS or claws for spec, pro teams will usually only teach one new person at a time, it's all about knowing what you should be doing nex. Good luck on drops, join of the gods they had nex slaying down pat after 2 weeks of release.

 

Oh I forgot claws and Ring of Vigour.

But if your just going to join a clan for Nex I would choose Pride in Domination, they usually always have a few teams at Nex at any time.

 

Sweet, thanks for the help guys. Since I'm just starting this, in definitely not familiar with what I'll need to do at nex. Do they always teach someone, or do they expect everyone to have experience?

I find some of the requirements to be ridiculous, but its almost a requirement with every team nowaday.

 

There are multiple guides on Youtube, I just watched a bunch of videos of kills and I got how to kill Nex.

It might help having Seers 4 completed for more bolt specs but thats up to you, it justs helps with the kill if everyone has it.

 

Does the Seers 4 special effect only happen if you're wearing the Headband, or is it all the time?

 

You don't need to be wearing the headband.

One more thing: Try to find people that aren't going to rage quit in the middle of the kill.

Also, to the person that said Rune CBow and Chaotic CBow have the same stats, Chaotic CBow has +30 accuracy on the Rune CBow.

 

O, I always see people complaining about CCBow being shitty and having the same stats as a Rune CBOW, so I was going off their statements.


Btw how much do you guys usually rake in a day of Nex? I imagine 80-200M on a good day.

You make bank somedays an lose money on supplies the next day.. It's all luck really. If you miss a couple of drops, keep going don't lose faith eventually you will get something pimp. Also make sure if you have Corp LSP you warn the team BEFORE the trip starts as most pro teams do not allow Corp lsp.

Not sure how PiD's nex teams work but I know that OTG rather you go and learn the ropes with welfare teams and YouTube vids before taking you to nex.

 

Maybe just go with a few friends a couple of times to get the general feel of it, and then working your way up from there.

 

Why lootshare? I mean LS was a good option when nex drops sold above G.E. but that isn't really the case anymore, or atleast I don't think. I haven't played rs legit in about 2-3 years so I don't know much about the game anymore I just bot gold!

I've never been to Corp, to be honest. Thanks for the advise, I'll make sure I know the ropes before I go Nex.
