Suggestion for MM Section

I am suggesting that we make it so your post count raises when you post in middleman section. I don't really see how it is a difference from bumping your threads in the market or anywhere else. If we want to continue to make it so your post count doesn't rise does that mean that the 8 hour bump rule doesn't apply to the Middleman section because your post count doesn't raise? Anyways, So I am suggestion that post count raises when we post in the Middleman Section.

Not the most important thing, but there is definitely not a reason for post count to not raise in that section, support.

 

Maybe Staff doesn't want to set post count active in that section due to the amount of bumps in each topic. For example:

I have nothing against this suggestion, but I think I understand why post count is disabled.

 

I understand what you are saying but there are just that many posts if not more in the market on certain peoples threads. You can still only bump your thread once every 8 hours. So, If that rule applys i don't see why there can't be post count?

 

Then why is it enabled in other places like the gold exchange?
It doesn't really make sense to single out one section and leave the others giving post count.

I think because it takes a few days for a thread to disappear off the first page that the 8 hour bump is a bit excessive, hence lack of post count. Unlike the market where you can be on page two within a few hours potentially.

Still, I guess it wouldn't hurt although it's not really much of an issue.

 

Oh, I am not saying it as a major issue it was just something that I noticed and that's why I am suggesting it.

I'd like to add also that people sometimes request posts to confirm trades etc. and so excessive bumping is somewhat allowed there. Could have something to do with it.

 

I see what you are saying but i don't see how that is any different then people going around the market and saying added or here is my skype. I think it is the same thing in my opinion.

 

Probably cause people will just post on threads acting like they need a middleman to get their post count up. This is going to cause more people to make middleman threads to bump them pushing people who actually middleman off the first page.

 

What is the difference between that or just going through the market and posting your skype on every thread? you can go to any section almost and make a thread.

 

Not to mention people can post on any of these threads to get free post count
