The UN headed back to Syria on Wednesday after a dozen or more complaints of chemical weapon attacks - however the evidence as to whodunnit is over 6 months old and the last UN convoy came under fire.
Obama, as ever, has been making friends with Putin - jabbing at him (without naming him of course) in his speech to the UN.

Spoiler: A relevant explanation of the Middle East and the US

Ed Milliband, UK Labour leader held his Labour party conference which finished up last week. After the first 20 or 30 minutes of crowd pleasing and being on everyone's side - he got to the nitty gritty.
He called David Cameron out on his bedroom tax, and I quote, "Conservative introduced the bedroom tax, labour will be the ones to remove the bedroom tax".
He also jabbed at how Cameron is unable to stand up to strong opposition - mocking his hasty decisions regarding Syria, his backing of the Murdoch fiasco and accusing him of only pleasing his upper-class pals.

NEW IPHONE WOOOO! Hold on... new? What's new? That's right, Apple have released yet another product to their ever-loyal slaves - the iPhone 5c and iOS7 to-go.
Apparently a cheaper alternative of the iPhone 5S - it's still a whopping £469 and not much of an upgrade from an iPhone 5. It might be colourful, but what else does it have to offer?
It's not all bad - they've improved screen quality, the OS is smooth and the camera works a little more nicely. However, 4th Generation iPods are now being discounted from new OS updates - bit soon?

However, much to my amusement, a fake Apple advertisement encouraged iPhone owners to use their iPhones under water causing several hundred to be ruined.
It claimed that updating devices with the operating system installs a "smart switch" that cuts off the phone's power supply when water is detected.
How dumb do you get?

Kenya's president has confirmed he received intelligence reports suggesting a British women and a number of Americans were involved in the attack on a shopping mall in Nairobi.
It just brings home the message that we don't need to go parading across the globe to find terrorism, we have it on our doorsteps to contend with.
The attack on the Kenyan shopping centre has left 67 dead.

Controversial staff opinions!

The pardon system. Heavily controversial amongst users and staff alike.
Should it even exist? Do people ever change? How many times should you be able to pardon? Is the 6 month wait fair? Is 5 supports enough? It's all very deep stuff. So I asked the staff!

Ziggily isn't a fan of the system. She doesn't agree that things should be swept over the rug under the belief people have changed or matured.
She'd like to see them either removed completely or have the staff post more detailed responses as to why & why not.

However we should consider Shoop's point of: if the system didn't exist, some good people who are here today wouldn't be.
Quite right Shoop, staff included!

Brutally put, Govind thinks the system "needs to go".

I think the pardon system is terrible. The only good thing about it is the people who request a pardon payback users accepted or declined.

Pardon system should definitely stay considering how we pardon and whom we pardon its very rare to see many people get banned for the same thing twice, we have some executive staff whom have been banned and some high profiled users whom have been banned due to owing money... It's a fair system and the staff could just be a little more tight gripped when voting if they feel its not acting as a method to deter users from reoffending .... Good luck to all whom have entered the comp!
